I am writing to formally submit my resignation as the Economic Front National Spokesperson, Acting Presidential Spokesperson, and member of the Economic Front, effective immediately.
This decision is made with a heavy heart, but I feel I have no choice. I strongly disagree with the party’s decision to form an alliance with the UPND, a party that has shown a lack of integrity and morals, and to suddenly shift our stance on UPND’s capitalist policies. The people of Zambia deserve better leadership than what the UPND offers.
Given this direction the party has taken, I can no longer continue to serve with a clear conscience, which is why I have chosen to resign.
I would like to express my gratitude to the President, Vice President, MCCs, and all party members for the opportunities I’ve had to contribute. I wish the Economic Front success in its future endeavors.
