Mr Siambilu said on Friday, Mr Syaboombe went to his wife’s village to try and convince her to return to the matrimonial home but to no avail.

He also narrated that after failing to secure the return of his wife, Mr Syaboombe only managed to return with  the children and that the following morning, he instructed his older children to go to the field while he remained home with the two youngest.

“It was after this that he decided to take his own life and also administered a poisonous substance to the two young children he had remained with,” narrated Mr Siambilu.
