AFTER a long wait, Afropop singer Katongo is set to release her new single this coming Tuesday, 1st November.
Katongo, who has previously released hit songs with Cactus, Slapdee and Mic Burner, says her new single is a sensual love song titled ‘Hold My Waist’. It has a tropical island vibe that blends perfectly with her sultry vocals.
Katongo teases that her new song has a rap collaboration but she remains tight lipped about who the feature is.
The songstress is set to release an EP/Album early next year and it will include her smash hit ‘Tinofara’. Katongo previously won Best female newcomer at the Kwacha music awards 2019 and has also previously won the UK Songwriting contest. She is currently a signed songwriter with UK music publisher Speegra.
Though based in the UK she is currently in Zambia promoting her new single.
