Kazungula to record bumper harvest

ANDREW MUKOMA writes

SOME farmers Kazungula district’s Delevu and Simukombo Villages have expressed confidence of recording an unprecedented bumper harvest in this year’s farming season.

The farmers are optimistic of having a good yeild.

The small scale farmers attributed the projected bumper harvest due to the good preparations.

This is despite the late delivery of inputs from the Farmer Input Support Programme (FISP).

The farmers have told the Daily Nation that the maize crop is promising especially with the continued good rainfall pattern being experienced.

This is unlike the previous years the area was experiencing.
