FOLLOWING the continuous outcry for local upcoming artistes to have a platform that will offer support and talent promotion, Zambian businessman and music promoter Mubanga Bornfire Mulilo has announced the establishment of Bornfire Music Entertainment targeting upcoming and fresh artistes.
Speaking in an interview, Mr Mubanga who is chairman for Mulilo Group of Companies said the move is to begin a new chapter in Zambian music and offer promotional and support opportunities to upstarts.
” The establishment will purely target upcoming artistes because they have been marginalised. We will launch this important idea this week by first calling upon all upcoming artistes to send their videos on our YouTube Channel so that we pick a good number of them to work with the label,” he said, adding that the label will offer all promotional, recording and logistical support to the artistes.
” It is our hope that upcomers will find this a new space to work and enhance their dreams. We will be giving out details of how the project will unfold and urge everyone interested to follow our platforms,” said Mulilo who is also behind Muzo aka Alphoso. He has also supported several artistes out of passion.
