Testimony is a spiritual weapon

APOSTLE JOSHUA MARLON
writes

10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. – Revelations 12:10-11

WHEN the Bible speaks of the accuser, it refers to the devil. The devil is one who wants to accuse you and make you feel guilty for what you’ve done. But one thing you should know is that because Jesus died for you, this means you are no longer a sinner as he took away your sins.

In verse 11, we see how they overcame him by the blood of the lamb which is the blood of Jesus. If you want to overcome the devil, you can do it by the blood of Jesus and by the word of your testimony. By you saying your testimony you wage warfare against the enemy.

As Christians, we are spiritual beings. The weapons used by God are not carnal but spiritual. A testimony is a spiritual weapon too. The devil is not comfortable to be in a place where one testifies because once you testify, the devil flees.

To overcome simply means to overpower. A testimony is God equipping you with his power to overcome the devil, when you Testify you exercise this overcoming power. Whenever you testify, you put the devil on the run.

The weapons God has equipped us with are not carnal.

He has empowered us with spiritual weapons to use when the devil rises against us.

It doesn’t matter how small our testimony may seem or sound, it has a great impact in the realms of the realms of the spirit to make the devil flee from you, make it your culture to Testify. You engage spiritual warfare by testifying .The bible informs us Satan was thrown out of heaven and there was no place for him, when we testify we throw out the devil out of that area we testify in and leave no room for him. Let your mouth be full of testimonies .A testimony takes you to another level.

The word testimony means do it again.

When you Testify you provoke God to do it again and do it much more than he did it before. Usually when there’s a moment of silence in your life and in the area you need a breakthrough in, it is because you are not testifying, your testimony is a prophetic Declaration that provokes God to keep doing it for you. A practical example to help you understand this principle, when a wife prepares a delicious meal for the husband, when his done eating and compliments the wife how he enjoyed the meal and how well it was prepared, he should expect another delicious meal, even better than the one he had. The husband’s appreciation and complement is communication to the wife, I love the way you cook and I want more of this cooking, in like manner this is what happens when we testify, we make a prophetic Declaration to God, I love the way you blessing me and I want you to keep doing it even much more.

Always observe those that give glory to God and have developed a culture of testifying, you will see them constantly being blessed and having breakthroughs, miracles happening in their lives, this is because they apply the principle and they definitely get the results. it’s an error not to Testify as a child of God.

My prayer for you today, May God change that Situation in your life that seems impossible by humans ability and fill your mouth with a testimony in Jesus name

GOD-TRACKING IS COMPLETELY RETREATING FROM MY OWN IMPORTANCE

“May we not strut about like peacocks, flaunting our feathers for the world to see but may we humbly remember the glory is the Lord’s.” – Hebrews 4:16

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

St. Francis de Sales said, “Some men become proud and insolent because they ride a fine horse, wear a feather in their hat or are dressed in a fine suit of clothes. Who does not see the folly of this? If there be any glory in such things, the glory belongs to the horse, the bird and the tailor.” We all strive for the glory of God in our lives. And, indeed, God’s glory is something well worth striving for. However, the key to my experience of God’s glory is found in completely retreating from my own importance.

I have been seeking to experience more of the glory of God. I have a yearning to see his presence manifest more and more in my life. I have found that the manifest glory of God is found in a total submission to his holiness. God is holy. Holiness means consecrated, sanctified and unique. God is absolutely unique: there is nothing like God – his splendour, his righteousness, his majesty – in the whole universe! When people enter the glory of God, they are challenged by his holiness.

The prophet Isaiah experienced the glory of God. He describes it like this: “I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him stood the seraphim. Each had six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one called to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!” Then he says the temple shook with God’s majesty and the house was filled with smoke (smoke or clouds are often evidence of the glory of God). Then notice Isaiah’s response: “Woe is me! For I am lost; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!”

Do you desire to experience more of God’s glory in your life? I do. Do you have a longing to come under the influence of his Holy Spirit and dwell in his holy presence? I do. As I do, do you have a passion to reveal God’s grandeur in all you do, living under the cloud of his glory at your time of need? If so, then let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith and our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience. May we not strut about like peacocks, flaunting our feathers for the world to see but may we humbly remember the glory is the Lord’s.

God-tracking is completely retreating from my own importance

SO, DON’T GIVE UP, LOOK UP & PRAY

O Lord, I retreat from my own importance and submit entirely to the will of God

“Dear God, you are high and exalted and your glory fills the earth. You are holy and supremely righteous. Only by the blood of Jesus have I been forgiven of my sin and purified. Only by the blood of Jesus have I the right to approach your throne. I come before you in the name of Jesus my Lord and I surrender every part of my life to your glory. O Lord, I retreat from my own importance and submit entirely to the will of God. As the prophet Isaiah prayed, I pray: Here am I! Send me. Amen.”

If you prayed that prayer I would love to hear from you.
