UNIVERSITY STUDENT IN DOCKS FOR DANGEROUS DRIVING

A LUSAKA man has been admitted to Lusaka High Court on charges of causing death by dangerous driving.

Appearing at the Magistrates Court before Magistrate Ruth Kapulo was Kamwendo Sampa, 24, a student at the University of Zambia (UNZA).

It is alleged that on 20 January, Sampa caused the death of Nicolas Katandika at Great East Road while driving in a manner that was dangerous to other road users and the public.

The court admitted Sampa to the High Court for his trial.
