‘ADULTERY KILLED HUBBY ERECTION’

...Sexually starved wife complains in court

MARY PHIRI writes

A WOMAN of Ndola has painfully complained in a local court that her husband has lost erection because of his adulterous behaviour.

Beauty Ngulube, 36, sued her husband Benson Changwe, 48, for divorce saying he was sexually starving her as his manhood was failing to erect.

Ngulube told the court when the two got married, everything was good until her husband started working in another town.

She told the court amid giggles from the public gallery that each time Changwe came home, he was failing to perform in bed and made up excuses.

The woman told the court her husband’s manhood had surprisingly become weak to the extent that he fails to have an erection each time they are in bed.

“I am sexually starved. He only performs when he goes to sleep with his girlfriend but with me it’s different,” she lamented.

Ngulube said she started getting information from people that her husband was cheating on her with another woman.

“Recently, someone told me that he has even paid dowry for the same woman and the two are married, but when I asked him he denied everything,” she said.

Ngulube said their two families had countless meetings to help the couple to resolve their differences but nothing had changed.

She said she had tried to consult elderly women about her predicament and they had all told her that another woman was causing the problem in her marriage and that her husband’s manhood would never erect in the matrimonial home.

They told her that the other woman was enjoying the services of her husband as he was able to have an erection and performed to satisfaction in her bed.

“Due to his infidelity our marriage is broken. There is no love. He no longer cares for our children. That’s why I want this marriage to end so that he continues with the same woman,” she said.

But in his defence, Changwe said there was no other woman in his life and that his wife was just fond of nagging him all the time.

“She is too nagging. She doesn’t get anything that I tell her and only wants us to be arguing all the time. If I have another woman can I be coming back home?” he said.

Ndola main local court senior presiding magistrate Elizabeth Banda, sitting with Jenifer Sakala and Barbra Changwe, adjourned the case to a later date for judgment.
