THE Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has revised its September Super League fixtures for the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederations Cup envoys.

Champions Zesco United and Green Eagles are flag carriers in the CAF Champions league while Zanaco FC are in the second tier competition.

The three teams will have a continental assignment next weekend and this month end.

According to a circular sent to clubs and obtained by the Sun sport, Zambia Super League interim manager Brian Mulenga said most September matches would be rescheduled because of continental assignments.

Zesco face Tanzanian giants Young Africans in a CAF Champions League first round first leg in Dar es Salaam.

Eagles have a date with Angola’s Premeiro de Agosto this Saturday at Heroes Stadium while Zanaco will be away to Boston City of Mauritius on Sunday.

Eagles are playing Zanaco in a week two encounter yesterday while the Nakambala Leopards and Zesco United match, which was initially set for September 14, has been pushed forward by four days in Mazabuka.

Other affected matches are the week four ties involving Zanaco FC and Kabwe Youth Soccer Academy, which has been brought forward to September 25 from 28.

The Zesco Vs Power Dynamos game has been moved to the second week of October from September 28 while the clash between Green Eagles and Lumwana Radiants has also been moved to October to accommodate the FIFA international calendar week with an exception of Zanao and Green Eagles who played their rescheduled game yesterday.

Competition returns to the domestic league next weekend as the I plays its week two fixtures with the exception of continental envoys who will be out on CAF engagements.
