In a bid to celebrate Zambia’s rich culture and music heritage, AME Entertainments in collaboration with the Luapula Province Expo will on Friday September 6 host a special memorial dinner dance to remember the late great iconic Zambian musicians Peter Kalumba Chishala aka PK and Nashil Pictchen Kazembe.
The event which will be followed by unveiling of Tombstones the following day will be graced by artistes Petersen and James Sakala both from Lusaka.
This event will obviously be cardinal as it is a way of rewriting music history and pay special attention to the contributions of the two fallen heroes.
Most current musicians are in a way inspired by the late musicians whose music plays a significant role today.
Ideally, James Sakala will be honored to perform at this event as he is one of the many artistes that do cover songs for late Chishala. Sakala has carried on PK Chishala’s legacy with a blend of modern influences. On the other hand, Petersen will add the modern flavour to show. The artiste has built his own music empire dubbed Zaga Life. He has transformed into a great music performer who now focusses on live and authentic music.
