SUPER league side Power Dynamos has announced the acquisition of Green Eagles sensational right back Matteo Ndashe.

According to press statement from Dynamos availed to the Sun sport, Ndashe has joined the Kitwe side on a season long loan deal.

His acquisition will give the Fordson Kabole led technical bench more defensive fire power.

Power has been grappling in defence with key players in  Allan Kamwanga and Govenda Simwala out nursing injuries.

“Power Dynamos have recruited Matteo Ndashe from Green Eagles FC to beef up the backline. His arrival has given the technical bench a lifeline following the spate of long-term injuries that have hit two wing backs, Govenda Simwala and Allan Kamwanga,

“Ndashe who has been acquired on loan from Green Eagles will be at Power until end of this season and will increase team depth,” read the statement.

Ndashe took to social media last week where he hinted on his plans to join Power after he wished the Kitwe side the best of luck ahead of their game with Kansanshi Dynamos.

According to coach Aggrey Chiyangi , the defender’s  move to leave  was prompted by the fact that he was surprisingly left out of the Eagles squad for Continental football and the Super league.

Last month Chiyangi told a media briefing that Ndashe could have been incensed by the omission from the squad that travelled for the CECAFA Kagame Cup.

Chiyangi had however promised to meet the player and discuss his future with the club.

Ndashe rose to prominence in the Zambian league due his  unique way of celebrating goals through dancing.

The right back was an integral member of the Eagles squad that competed in the confederations cup last season as well as finishing runners- up in the transitional league.
