THE current load shedding in our country, for me, does not only fail to make sense but is in total disarray.
I say so because it changes almost on daily basis with extended hours of outages without explanation in many instances.
If ZESCO offers an explanation it is after it has pulled the trigger without any warnings.
True, the situation calls for sacrifice but my appeal to ZESCO is that it should also put a foot in it by ensuring that it sticks to its load shedding programme without behaving like shifting sands.
It is not its fault but the falling water levels at our main power generation point, Lake Kariba.
It is my prayer that ZESCO will pick it up from here and do the needful.
