Hundreds of fans on Saturday flocked to Kafue’s Empire Nightclub for musician Yo Maps music performance.
The huge crowd which turned up as early as 20:00 hours proved the artiste is indeed having his music moment of his life true to his anthem ‘ Season Yanga’.
The artiste who is currently the most nominated musician in the forthcoming Kwacha Music Awards only stormed the stage around 23:30 but managed to attract all the support from the audience. His entry on stage was signaled by an instrumental of the song ‘Season Yanga’ which created excitement among the fans. Straight away Yo Maps, in the company of dancers, went into his act giving all the best music he is known for.
With his dancers displaying energetic moves and well-coordinated routines, Yo Maps showcased popular songs like ‘Kaleza,’ ‘Oxygen’, ‘Mutengo utali,’ and ‘System’ to name only a few. These received massive feedback with fans singing along. The artiste left the stage after 01:00 following the performance of ‘ Season Yanga’ which is one of the fan’s favourite.
Earlier, XYZ’s Toaster rocked the stage with his famous anthems ‘Kubauza uza’ and ‘Stay’.
Music producer TK was also present and helped identify young talent from Kafue. Others present were DJs Kuks and Kadz. The show closed in the early hours of Sunday.
