TERENCE MISELO Writes

Ndola-based artiste Nash Q says he is full of excitement to be nominated for this year’s Kwacha Music Awards under the category ‘Best Dance hall/Reggae Song’.

The artiste who spoke in a telephone interview from Ndola says he feels honored that he could be considered amongst the country’s great in raga dancehall and hopes for the best.

“Of course, being nominated is for me the biggest achievement. I am very excited and it shows that people are following our music. I am appealing to all my fans and everybody in love with my music to vote for my song. It will be a great moment to win it,” said Nash Q.

The artiste got his nomination following his efforts on the song, ‘Ulambogosola’ featuring wonder boy Daev. The song has continued to perform very well on the local music charts and its video has equally done well.

In the ‘Best Dance hall/Reggae’ category, Nash Q is going against big guns like J-Rox and T-Sean with their songs ‘The Poet Choir’ and ‘Balance it Up’ respectively. Others in the competition include Roberto with ‘African Woman’, Krazillian with ‘Chikondi Chako’, Davaos ‘My Love’ and DJ Cosmo with ‘Man Grab Ah Gyal’.
