Striker Kambole shines

NEWLY signed Kaizer Chiefs Zambian striker Lazarous Kambole has made an instant impact on his new team by making it to starting lineup for the upcoming Carling Black Label final against Orlando Pirates to be played on July 27 at the FNB stadium.

 Kambole, signed from the Zambian super league giants, Zesco United, has been a hit with Chiefs supporters since his move to the Amakhosi.

Just a few weeks before the Carling Black Label Cup will be played at FNB Stadium, the lethal forward has broken into the starting line-up.

The starting line-up for Chiefs and Pirates is chosen by soccer fans of both teams.

Players with the highest votes earn a place in the stating team while those with low votes start from the bench or may never be used at all.

The Zambian international currently sits at 27, 172 votes and, as things stand, will lead the attack with Bernard Parker, who has an incredible 74, 494.

In midfield, Chiefs have Khama Billiat, Siphelele Ntshangase, George Maluleka and Dumisani Zuma.

At the back, Ramahlwe Mphahlele, Daniel Cardoso, Mulomowandau Mathoho and Lorenzo Gordinho look set to start, but young left back Happy Mashiane is closing in on a place in the starting line-up with 9018 votes.

New Chiefs striker Samir Nurkovic is on 7501, while new midfielders, James Kotei and Kearyn Baccus, are on 2771 and 913 votes respectively.
