Musician Danny Siulapwa famously known as Danny Kaya this year celebrates his 40th birthday and 20 years of his singing career.
For this reason, the ‘ Yakumbuyo’singer plans to mark this important part of his life with a new album.
Danny has always made music and producing full albums rather than singles, has been his greatest strength. He has in the many years of his career followed a consistent music lifestyle of live performances and producing thematic albums.
Some of his well-known productions include ‘ Yakumbuyo’, ‘ Beta TV’, ‘ Champion’ , ‘ Professor Danny Kaya’ and ‘ 10 years’ to name a few. As his celebration of his 40th birthday, the local iconic singer has planned to have two major shows under the title ‘Danny Kaya Music Festival’.
The two shows will be held in Lusaka and Kitwe. According to information from Danny’s marketing team, the Kitwe show will be held at the newly-built ECL Mall while the Lusaka show will be at the Levy Mall in September.
Works on the new album have already reached an advanced stage and fans must look out for this one
