OYDC launches ‘Madalas League’

THE Olympic Youth Development Centre (OYDC) has introduced a corporate sports competition called ‘Madalas League’ to promote better health, increased productivity and team building among employees.

OYDC communications officer Noah Silomba said that the league which was expected to start this year, would provide opportunities for employees of various organizations to participate in well-organized social sporting competitions.

Silomba said the competitions would involve disciplines like chess, basketball, volleyball, football, netball, tug of war, pool and many other sports activities that the centre offered.

Silomba said that any organization wishing to take part in the league should register with the OYDC secretariat.
