Struggling Zambia Super league stream B bottom of the table side, Lumwana Radiants are confident of surviving relegation by turning things around in the return fixtures.

Speaking in an interview with the Sun Sport , Lumwana Radiants coach Chewe Mulenga said that his team as the league reaches the midpoint, will work on turning things around and ensuring that they win all their remaining games in their stream.

Mulenga said that his team has been playing well despite having not collected maximum points in their last 8 games with only one win , three draws and 5 losses which resulted in the Club parting company with its coach Osward Mutapa after last Sunday’s home loss to Green Eagles.

‘’With the log standings, I think we still have a long way to go and nine games is enough. We can make it as we have that chance to survive,’’ he said.

The North western based Lumwana have only managed to  accumulate points from their last 8 games and sit in number nine just one point above bottom of the table FC Muza who have also only won one game out of the 7 played so far.

The Zambia Super league enters week 9 this week which is the mid-point in the transitional Zambia super league and could be a decider for the contenders of the 2019 Zambia’s top eight cup competition.
