Lusaka Mayor, Miles Sampa has ordered Hybrid Poultry Farming to remove the giant statute of a chicken at the traffic circle on Great East Road.
The chicken placed at the Chainama/PHI round-about was placed by the chicken company whose premises is in the area.
But in his letter dated 25th February 2019, to Hybrid Poultry country director, Huwe Morris, Sampa says the City Council was promoting a policy to have less artifacts and advertising inside the circle of the round-about.
He says the City Council was promoting water fountains and national hero statutes in the middle of the circle.
