NKANA Football Club Coach Bestone Chambeshi says his team is not affected by first choice goalkeeper Allan Chibwe’s departure following the expiry of 6 months contract.
Speaking in a postmatch interview after his team beat NAPSA Stars 3-1 in Wednesday’s week 2 of Zambian Super league game at Nkana
Stadium.
He said his technical bench had all the confidence in Chibwe’s understudy Kelvin Malunga who he said has accounted for himself very well in
the last two games he has played despite having conceded three goals.
“If you see the young man Malunga the, upcoming goalkeeper and my technical team has all the confidence in the young boy, he is doing fine
despite conceding a goal, he is improving each and every game,’’ he said.

from behind to win the game.He said getting the first win of the season was a good start for his team, adding that they shall take each game as
it comes.

points despite having to play a congested number of fixtures which involves the domestic league and CAF confederations Cup group stage
games.
Meanwhile NAPSA stars coach Mohamed Fathy said his team will have to learn positives from the loss against Nkana adding that they would
leave it behind and concetrate on their next game as the league was still in its early days.
